Hi, I'm Jack Brown
I'm a photographer based in Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida, and currently a student at Georgia Southern University, where I study Mechanical Engineering. While my academic focus is technical, creativity has always been a core part of who I am. I grew up spending some of my time drawing and designing, constantly looking for ways to bring ideas to life visually.
In 2025, I picked up a camera and found a new medium to express that same creative vision. Since then, photography has become a way for me to capture moments, tell stories, and highlight perspectives that might otherwise go unnoticed.
From 2025 to 2026, I worked as a staff photographer for The George-Anne Statesboro, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of assignments and developed a strong foundation in visual storytelling. In 2026, I stepped into the role of Head Photographer for The George-Anne, where I now lead visual coverage and help shape the publication's photographic direction.
My work spans sports, events, and landscapes. I focus on capturing real moments as they happen, with an emphasis on timing, composition, and detail. My goal is to create images that are not only visually strong, but also meaningful and lasting.
